About the Founder:
I am excited to be in the this field. As an experienced Special Education Teacher and Behaivor Analyst I have been in the field for many years. I have seen many innovations in the field of Autism research and treatment. One innovation very near and dear to me is the expansive use and application of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Over the years I have met hundreds of children and professionals in the field. I have seen many private programs and private schools grow and develop innovative services and curriculum for children. However, I have also seen families struggle to gain even the minimal services needed for their children within the public sector. It is through my experiences in all avenues of teaching and direct service with children that I decided to open Walton Educational Consulting, a full service consultation firm servicing individual families and schools to meet the needs of children with ASD. Our goal is to educate and renovate the current thinking and implementation of Applied Behavior
Analysis and develop not just an "ABA" program but develop innovative inclusive classrooms, effective schools, successful home based programs and successful educational communities for children with Autism.
I believe that each child has a unique gift and presence. I believe that every child must be given the opportunity to grow to their potential. I believe that every school district, parent, teacher and school specialist is capable of developing innovative programs for children witih ASD. I believe that we can change the face of ASD, ABA an ABA intervention. I believe that every child can learn and that every family deserves the opportunity to see their child grow and at Walton Educational Consulting we are committed to this mission and strive to see that every child is given the opportunity they deserve. It is with this mission, sincere dedication, committment and passion for a better way that I began this company.
